#67MinutesOfMandelaDay: 18 July 2017.

We saw a need for trees in our community and the importance of preserving our nature. Hence we managed to get 100 Trees from Mr Joost Tryhou (oaks, pine oaks, and Wit Stinkhout). We then dedicated our 67 minutes to distribute them to various social institutions.

“The purpose is that interested pupils would be aware of the importance of growing and nursing trees and shrubs to the advantage of human and animal life. Furthermore, that young people would realize that they have to do efforts to obtain goals. Life is not always easy. “ - Joost Tryhou

EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS

One of AG4AD Youth Development Project objective is to facilitate and expedite educational programmes such as #AfterSchool and #Computer Classes to local schools

We have partnered with Dullstroom Learning Center and the teachers. We have been getting credit from both learners and teachers for introducing these two project.

Helping primary school learners with class and home works. (Mpilonhle Primary School)

Research shows that university first year students struggle with completing work that requires computer usage. This led to our team to initiate a Computer Program with Siyifule High School to familiarize learners with basic computer skills
